For the entire development of Battlefield 6 - I was part of the Core Environment and the Core Destruction teams, and in both teams we focused on setting benchmark standards for creating standardized and shareable destructible architecture at the highest possible quality to the best possible gameplay experience. Our work emphasized content creation that aligned with visual and tech quality expectations as well as ensuring a fun, immersive and realistic destruction experience.
During production I was fortunate to collaborate with the Gibraltar multiplayer pod on Iberian Offensive content as we made an intensive effort to bring the large, complex, and highly destructible mid-rise buildings to final quality for the BF6 Open Beta. These assets were so much fun to collaborate on and I think truly showcases the best blend of Battlefield destruction design and visuals.
A special thanks to Johan Nilsson for his invaluable vision and Katarina Persson for her extraordinary work ethic, both who were instrumental in delivering these assets to the highest quality. The dedication and expertise of the entire Iberian Offensive pod to deliver such a complex and challenging map to the quality they did, have been truly inspiring.
